Stripes - Scene 2 - Animatic

Yay! It's finally done. It took a longer than I had thought, but mostly because I was trying very hard to up my storyboarding game. The people at Disney told me I should work on 'clarity' with my storyboards, so I focused on making the story beats as clear as possible.

This time I kept track of my working hours in a spreadsheet. The whole animatic took 55 hours and 18 minutes.

I spent 5 hours and 39 minutes working out the storyboards on paper.

I spent the rest of the 49 hours and 39 minutes drawing the storyboards in Photoshop and editing them together in Premiere (with some reworking done on paper).

I also spent some time trying to learn more about storyboarding. I drew storyboards by watching films frame by frame. I did this with 'Princess Mononoke' and 'Up.' I also read some books, my favorite of which is this one.
